Mark Minnich:  

Born 1947, Mark Daniel Minnich, Seattle Wash. ,3rd of three boys. Moved from Renton-Issaquah area to Federal Way in 1955. Attended Steel Lake and Mirror Lake Ele. and Federal Way and Lakota Jr. High's. Graduated 1965 from Federal Way High School under the name Dan Minnich and did not start with name Mark until 1977 when the companies I worked for used my first name officially. In high school I was involved in sports, was a cheerleader, and involved in music the last two years where I sang in a band (Cashmere's) for 3 years. Did solo singing with guitar backup from best friend Art Chandler for 6 years.. Worked for Boeing in 1965-1966 until I joined the Viet Nam war and was introduced to the Air Force. I was discharged at Altus, Okla where I met my first and only wife on a blind date from a small town (Cheyenne) Okla. We entered Southwestern Oklahoma State University togather however she was val. of her high school and much, much brighter than myself. At college we both were in the top 5% in honors and achievements. She graduated with a Business Law degree and myself was involved in both studies of Biology and Psycholigy with a B.S. (Music Minor) After 3 years of working and studying togather, we lost one child and another boy was born 10 months later but we ended in divorce New Years Eve 1973 during my senior year and post grad year. My boy remains in Tulsa, Oklahoma under a different last name. After college I worked in management for Safeway, small convienant stores and eventually, a Tech. and Supervisor for a Louisianna-Arkansas gas company and Plant Superintindant for Norbest Turkeys.
